Current Art Exhibit at The Vendue
On display from November 19, 2021 through February 22, 2022
An exhibition threading memories through the assembled and the sewn.
Unraveled Recollections highlights artists that use textile and assemblage techniques to explore themes of memory and ephemerality. The hand of each artist is present in approaches such as weaving and quilting that hold complex narratives about the passage of time. This exhibit features work from Kirsten Hoving, Rachel de Cuba, Susan Lenz, Marian Zielinski, Jennifer Moss, Robin Howard, and Kathy Moore.
Unraveled Recollections is open to the public and is currently on view in Gallery 26 at The Vendue, located in downtown Charleston’s French Quarter district. The exhibit is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. Tours of the collection are available upon request to guests staying at The Vendue. Enjoy a 360-degree sneak peek of the exhibit below.
