Revival | A Modern Southern Eatery
The concept for Revival is modern, yet relaxed dining with a focus on recipes and/or ingredients from South Carolina’s past.
Chef Parker has worked with local farmers to “revive” certain ingredients and utilize them in his dishes. A sample of these ingredients include the previously extinct Nostrale rice, Jimmy Red grits, or the Bradford Watermelon.
Situated at 162 East Bay on the corner of Vendue Range, Revival serves dishes you can’t get anywhere else, like Burrata & Holy City Tomato Salad; Lowcountry Pirlou with Carolina Gold rice (the recalcitrant and ultra-flavorful grains that stick to the pot); Crumb Fried Seafood served Edisto Motel style with Jimmy Red hushpuppy; and Forbidden Shrimp and Grits made with forbidden black rice packed with antioxidants, not to mention taste.
If you’re worried about parking downtown, come visit Revival. The restaurant offers complimentary valet parking.
